Homework

En 1993 el primer single de Daft Punk "The new wave" fue lanzado limitadamente. En 1995 volvieron al estudio para grabar "Da Funk", su segundo single. Ese mismo año se convirtió en su primer single comercialmente exitoso. La banda firmó con Virgin Records en 1996. Alive y Da funk fueron incluidos en su album debut en 1997, Homework.
El single más exitoso de Homework fue "Around the world".
